One question I’ve been asked several times recently is how long we plan on doing our vegetable delivery. Matt and I have discussed this and we decided that we will continue over the winter until we get a delivery that we just feel wasn’t worth the money. From what we understand, the place we get ours from will continue delivering all year. They will store a lot of the root vegetables from the fall to last through to the spring. They also have greenhouses to keep us laden with greens throughout the year.
So, to be honest, I have no idea how long we will continue this for, but here is an idea of what we are getting recently:
- carnival squash
- broccoli
- zucchini
- red pepper
- carrots
- onion
- fingerlings
- golden beets
- kale
- peashoots
- red leaf lettuce
- white mushrooms
- garlic
- mangel?? Not sure on this one
Still seems worth it to me, so we’ll continue for another delivery at least.
